The London Business College is proud to be formally registered and recognised by the Department for Education and Skills as an education and training provider. If you are an Overseas Student, please note that you can only apply for a Student Visa when you apply for a course from a College that has been registered by the DfES.

BSc and Law Programmes

Established in 1836, the University of London has grown into one of the UK’s most reputable Universities.

Studying a degree at the London Business College is assessed to the same high standards as set out by the University of London, and upon successful completion of studies, Students will receive a University of London degree. In all cases, Students should register with the University of London as well as the London Business College.

Australian Institute of Business Administration (AIBA)

When you are ready to take the next step up the education and career ladder, the quality of your BBA or MBA is everything. Developed and designed using practical and research-based techniques, your degree will be immediately
relevant to industry and put you in a position closer to the frontline of the modern workforce.

Our partner and awarding body is the Australian Institute of Business Administration (AIBA), which is accredited by the Australian Government. The AIBA also falls under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), the body that ensures the highest standards in education are consistently met across all Universities and higher education institutions. So, if you want to reach higher than ever before, or if you are studying a Diploma or Associate degree in Business Management and ready to make the smooth transition to the BBA degree, take a closer look at the degree that will take you closer to the

ABE

The London Business College is accredited by the Association of Business Executives (ABE) – a UK-based professional body promoting business and management qualifications.

ABE was founded to deliver respected and recognised UK qualifications in these fields, ideal for Students to aspire to a future management position, or helping those already working in industry, commerce and the public service to develop their administration and management skills.

The London Business College prepares Students for this qualification, a cost-effective route to improved management performance that can be used to enter University degree and MBA programmes. In addition, many professional bodies give a range of exemptions to holders of an ABE qualification (see below).

Students who have completed the diploma and/or advanced level can be fast tracked to the second and final years of UK-based business degrees at undergraduate or graduate level. There are three levels of qualification:

  1. Certificate stage
  2. Diploma stage
  3. Advance Diploma Stage

ABE offers three major programmes:

  1. Business Management
  2. Business Information System
  3. Travel, Tourism and Hospitality

If you hold a qualification from another professional body or University similar in content and level to the ABE qualification, you may be eligible for an exemption from some of the ABE Diploma examinations.

All Students are advised to register with the London Business College firstly (please complete and submit application form) and then with the ABE before the commencement of their studies, thereby receiving any exemptions due.

CIM

The Chartered Institute of Marketing courses available at the London Business College are the Professional Certificate in Marketing and the Professional Diploma in Marketing course.

ACCA qualification

To become a Chartered Certified Accountant or Auditor and operate at the highest level of accountancy, management and consultancy, one qualification stands out above the rest.

ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) is the largest accountancy body in the world and has members in over 160 countries. This qualification will address your individual aspirations and provide you with the skills and expertise you need to craft a distinguished career in public practice, commerce and the public sector. But you don’t need to go straight into employment. If you wish to progress your education further and if you have successfully passed Parts 1 and 2 of the ACCA qualification, you can be eligible to sit for the Oxford Brookes University degree in Applied Accounting (Hons).

ICM

The Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) offers vocational qualifications to prepare Students for work in the heart of industry. The ICM qualification is recognised across the UK, Europe and the rest of the world, and is accepted by Universities around the world for entry to the second and final years of UK-based BA and BSc Business degrees, which can lead to an MBA.

As course developer and examining and certifying board, ICM offers a wide range of professional and vocational awards in Business and Management studies. Currently, ICM offers qualifications at Certificate, Diploma and Advance Diploma, Graduate and Postgraduate levels and Associate degree level.

For Students pursuing a wide range of professional and vocational courses in Business and Management studies, you can apply for an ICM Associate Degree Programme, a three year, full-time programme, which gives entry into many Masters’ programmes, subject to status and examination grades.

The following ICM Programmes are available:

  • Diploma in Professional Computing and Information Processing
  • Diploma in Accounting and Finance
  • Associate Degree in Hospitality Management
  • Associate Degree in Accounting and Finance

If you are already a registered ICM Student you can obtain your Associate Degree in the relevant discipline by submitting a research project to attain the ICM Associate Degree award. All you need is either an ICM diploma or advanced diploma qualification in Business Studies and Marketing, Accounting & Finance or Hospitality Management, or, hold a HND level Business qualification from a recognised accredited education provider or awarding body.
